Heartland Classic 3015 Refrigerator Review
When you get to some of the more costly
refrigerators, you are going to find some that hover around the $2000 to
$3000 price range. They are going to be loaded with features and have
extremely interesting designs to justify their costs, however, so while they
still may be seen as a luxury, they have enough technological features to
still be considered worth their value.
TRUE luxury refrigerators are those like the
Heartland Classic Collection 3015. With a price of over $4500, the Heartland
Classic Collection 3015 defines luxury, with an impressive classic design
that is meant to add to your décor, rather than provide you with an
extensive list of features that make it “worth” the money.

Pros
The Heartland Classic Collection 3015 screams
quality. The design is unique and extremely attractive. It is smooth black
color with silver lining around the edges that makes it simply impressive to
see. The entire model is so well designed that it could easily create an
ambiance in the kitchen by itself.
However, since a refrigerator’s quality should also
be based on its refrigeration capabilities, having a stylish design is not
enough. The Heartland Classic Collection 3015 has touch temperature controls
that are extremely easy to use, a humidity controlled vegetable drawer, and
many of the other cooling features that make it an upper end model. The
Heartland Classic Collection 3015 is also reliable and large enough for most
families.
Cons
The cost of the Heartland Classic Collection 3015
cannot be underemphasized. $4000 is quite a lot of money to spend on a
fridge, even one with such an outstanding design. The 18.5 cubic feet of
space is also not too large, though not too small either. The organization
of the unit is nice, but nothing special.
Overall Impressions
Though the refrigeration of the Heartland Classic
Collection 3015 unit is solid, make no mistake – if you are getting this
type of refrigerator model, you are doing so because you have some money to
spend and think the design is something that will fit into your home. There
is nothing wrong with that approach, of course, but the degree of difference
in refrigeration quality and features between this model and the higher end
GE models is very slim, while the price difference is fairly substantial.
If you can afford it and are looking for a high
quality machine to help fit your kitchen’s décor, the Heartland Classic
Collection 3015 is easily one of the best looking fridges available. If
refrigeration is more important and your budget is not enormous, you will
likely want to go elsewhere.
