KitchenAid KFIS25XVMS Architect Series II Refrigerators Review
French Door refrigerators have been making a huge
splash due to their unique
design, organizational tools, and the fact that they are often loaded with
different features due to the greater cost that is generally associated with
the design. They also tend to have enormous bottom freezers, with some
models equipped with 2 different freezers.
The Kitchen Aid KFIS25XVMS Architect Series II
French Door Refrigerator only has one freezer, but it has something that
many other French Door refrigerators do not have – space. With room to spare
and a number of different organizational compartments, the KitchenAid French
Door fridge may be the refrigerator you want for your household décor.

Pros
The Kitchen Aid French Door Refrigerator is not as
flashy as some of the other French Door models, but it is still a great
cooling system with a very impressive design. Perhaps its best features
beyond design are its temperature safeguards to make sure that your food is
preserved at the right temperature, including the external temperature
reader so that you can check on the status of the temperature inside of the
refrigerator without opening the doors.
The water and ice dispensers are also a nice touch.
However, the space in the refrigerator and freezer are especially valuable.
Often times French Door fridges are not designed with large enough
dimensions to hold as much food, but the Kitchen Aid French Door
Refrigerator is fully loaded with room, and a variety of shelves designed
for easy organization.
Cons
As with most French Door fridges, the Kitchen Aid
French Door Refrigerator may be prohibitively expensive. The average price
is approximately $2,000 +, so the Kitchen Aid French Door Refrigerator is
still considered a luxury model. Also, it is not as energy efficient as it
could be, and the bottom freezer – which is large – may be so large that you
may find yourself piling foods on top of each other and forgetting about the
foods on the bottom.
Overall Impressions
The Kitchen Aid French Door Refrigerator is stacked
with enough features and a nice enough design that its cost is fairly well
justified. Still, it is still quite expensive and may not be a great choice
for the average family that does not want to splurge on a French Door fridge
simply for it’s interesting design. The temperature gauges, however, do make
the model a great choice for helping you maintain your foods, and as a
result if you can afford the Kitchen Aid French Door Refrigerator model, it
is still quite a good option.
